KERPOW (Kernow Power of Women) in association with Hall For Cornwall brings ONE BILLION RISING 2020 to Cornwall as part of a global mass action to end violence against women. The event took place in February 2020 situated in and around Truro which will celebrate solidarity through action, art, connection, imagination and love.
Over 2000 dancers, group leaders, dance and community groups and the general public from across Cornwall learnt the dance attending workshops & using the video below.
Over 250 people attended the main event & performed at this international dance event.
In 2020, thousands of ONE BILLION RISING events took place throughout the world.
