Workshop Description

The day will start with an invigorating dynamic release technique class to awaken our dancing bodies and tune into our attentions. We will then go on to explore some of the themes and processes from my solo work 'Likeness'. We will play with improvisation and free writing to gather layers of source material.

Using choreographic and compositional tasks we can then look at different arrangements of moving and words to understand ways in which meaning, both poetic and literal, can be conjured and unravelled.
