This workshop is aimed at dancers/makers/teachers/practitioners and undergraduates and recent graduates working within contemporary dance.

Important information: By joining this online workshop participants are responsible for their own health and safety working in their personal spaces.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Movement workshop facilitated by Choreographer Bakani Pick-Up. In this workshop we will explore how movement and composition work in real time through improvisation. We will further explore how dance and movement practice can be used to instigate and depict experience through physical expressions.


ABOUT BAKANI PICKUP

Bakani is a Choreographer who creates improvisational works centred around practice and methodology on ‘Ways of Being’ within performative structures. Previous work has been supported by Dance4, Arts Council England, Yorkshire Dance, Kala Sangham Arts Centre & Wainsgate Chapel.
