/12 WORKSHOPS OVER 12 MONTHS
Led by 12 choreographers, artists & teachers from across Cornwall, the UK & invited international guests, this programme will hone technical & devising skills & be an injection of inspiration to fuel ongoing work for performance and practice.
All workshops are open to dancers locally, nationally and internationally, each tailored to support experienced dancers, recent graduates and some accessible for dancers in training.

Gaga is a new way of gaining knowledge and self-awareness through your body. Gaga provides a framework for discovering and strengthening your body and adding flexibility, stamina, and agility while lightening the senses and imagination.
Joss’ fast paced classes are fuelled by dynamic centre exercises, followed by athletic movement combinations & repertoire. With a strong emphasis on strength, stamina & overall technique, Joss’ energetic classes push all participants to explore maximum body connectivity & awareness through speed, musicality & performance.
The day will start with an invigorating dynamic release technique class to awaken our dancing bodies and tune into our attentions. We will then go on to explore some of the themes and processes from my solo work 'Likeness'. We will play with improvisation and free writing to gather layers of source material.

Join Kay Crook, Chhaya Collective, for a sweaty, energetic & empowering workshop of collaborative movement exploration, technical training, floor drills, choreography & repertoire from Chhaya's current touring production KHAOS.
A technical & creative day focussing on solo studies. The workshop will combine taught dynamic set phrases, improvisational enquires & responding solo tasks all rooted in quality of movement & our relationship to space. Be prepared to sweat, to work deeply & be inspired by text, sound, music & each other.
